Zack Rikito Harris is an actor, writer and director currently recurring on CBS’s Magnum P.I. as Detective Jamie Kanemura and Creative Services Director of KITV4 Island News. Zack is a mixed-race Japanese American born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. He is a dual citizen of New Zealand, graduating South Seas Film & Television with a degree in Drama Directing and screenwriting. His film and television career began in Aotearoa, including his short ADAH AND STEVE, which premiered at the Wairoa Maori Film Festival. Returning to Hawaii, Zack has written and directed independent and commercial work for the last nine years. His latest award-winning short film he wrote, directed and acted in, Ballistic, has been selected at multiple festivals worldwide including premiering at the prestigious Hawaii International Film Festival. He continues his studies exploring Improv with the UCB Training Center and works as Director of Creative Services at KITV4 Island News, an ABC affiliate DMA 65 owned by Allen Media Broadcasting.
